Artist's description:

When I was in Italy, I drew lots of nude sculptures. This particular one was in a tiny museum. I liked the pose. I have no idea which museum it was in, but the sculpture looked so relaxed. I added the big feet and toes. Hers were a bit more proportional!:)

I cut the image out of linoleum and added some lines to balance her. Then I glued some colored paper onto the white paper and printed the image onto both! The process is called chine colle' which just means that something has been glued onto the print.

linoleum, oil-based ink, Italian Fabriano paper, blue and orange inked rice paper
