Reaching Horse is a clay sculpture that is an interpretation of the beautiful Lusitano Horse. The Lusitano horse has a beautiful arc to their neck and head and this is reflected in this piece.
Reaching Horse recently was placed as ‘Highly Commended’ in an exhibition. Here is the judges response to the work:
“I was immediately reminded of Leonardo’s drawings of horses. It was like a charcoal drawing but in 3D. Graceful, elegant and aesthetically beautiful.’
