Artist's description:

Geothermal activity, millions of years ago - triggered by a southward drift of the Eurasian plate - created Icelands breathtaking and magical lava-landscape.
Sulphur, iron, copper and many more minerals cause a fascinating image, especially in the Delta Region on the South Coast, where eventually the tiny parts of the oxides end up in the sea.
The meandering watercourses show colorful, almost abstract paintings,
taken from a helicopter, altitude 300 meters.
This photo is also available in 70 x 105 cm (alu + acryl) or as print 42 x 62 cm in frame 68 x 88 cm.
