Amrit is the drink of gods, the name of holy water. To get bucket of drinking water is a struggle for most women in Rajasthan, they have to walk kilometers to reach the source of water. They trudge bare foot in the hot sun for hours over thorny fields in search of water.Thus water for them is nothing but drink of God...Amrit and that women is AMRITA who bear the responsibility of collecting, transporting, storing, and managing water.

Fortunate to have this painting selected to be displayed in France at Gallery Ammarage during United Nations meeting in Paris . It was also displayed in the Paris City Hall during International women's day 8th March 2016.
