Original Oil Painting on stretched canvas
The painting is on stretched, gallery-wrapped primed and gessoed canvas. The wooden stretcher is a box frame 1.5 inches deep. The painting could be framed or hung directly as it is.
This is one of my original oil paintings showing the local landscape.
Raistrick Greave is a ruined 16th century farmhouse in Yorkshire. I started making a series of these ruined fantastically rich architectural farm enclosures.
This painting is part of a series exploring the old farms of Yorkshire.
