"Rainy night in the city" 10*10 oil on stretched canvas March 2015
I have been meaning to paint a night city street. I also recently fell in love with the idea of a “through wet glass” look. I used several google pictures of a rainy evening and a wet glass as a reference. I did not use a brush with this painting at all. Instead, palette knife, piece of cloth and my fingers helped me. Please see the complete process of the painting's creation here:
The original painting is on 3/4 inch wrapped canvas (back stapled). The sides are painted so it doesn't technically need a frame and ready to be hung as is.
Some of my paintings are in private collections throughout the US .
MATERIALS used to create this artwork are of the highest professional grade and archival quality.
DESPITE the major advances in digital photography and high-definition monitors, there might be discrepancy between the color schemes on your monitor and actual painting.
