Original artwork description:

I had this image in my head for probably over 20 years. I ran across the photo I took back in the middle 1970's and proceeded to finally paint it. I used my wife, Lynn, as my model - mostly because her favorite thing is rainy days and that is what I was going to paint. I shot the photo on "Shovel Point" overlooking Lake Superior - my hometown area. Lost the photo but every once and awhile I'd run into it and put it in a safe place so I would remember where I put it. Never could remember where it was - so when I did find it I really needed to paint it before I put it in another "safe place".
