Each piece of my work is composed of 1 painting, 1 story and 1 song.
The story and song are featured on back and side of canvas.
"OZ might be a cautionary tale for kids, but I think everybody have rather missed the plot here as it is probably the most emblematic feminist piece ever.
A girl, young and inexperienced, decides to leave her family to know the world and finds herself sorting out all kind of problems having to drag along 3 male presences, charming but let’s be honest, totally self absorbed and useless. And mind you, she finds all by herself her way home, in your face, sense of directions whatever, after sorting the men's problems. She also get to beat women’s worse enemy, I have named women themselves and discover that power is just a game played by boys who never get over teenage years and all this thanks to what?...A pair of shoes, YES, absolutely and what else could that be?!
So sisters everywhere, ditch Cinderella and Snow White and all other princesses who quit and thought Charming was going to solve it all for them, but since there was never a book about happily ever after, teach Dorothy to your daughters. She’s THE role model, the one, the one who can pull off bling shoes and make them look like a classic.
