Artwork description:
A mosaic made of vitreous Glass tiles based on my wood block relief prints.
The tiles are snipped to size and adhered to an MDF board with PVA glue and finished with coloured tile grout. The design is carefully mapped out on a tracing paper grid, so is repeatable, and will be limited to an edition of 3.
The mosaic will be signed and numbered on the back and will also have a wax seal of my stamp on the front.
The frame is black painted strips of wood around the perimeter to protect the tiles. It is a tactile thing and as such has no glass to the frame.
It is for indoor display only.
