One evening I stood on a cliff top, looking across at the headland and watching the rain move towards me like a slow curtain.
I have to admit that I just took some pictures and raced back to the cottage we were staying in rather than risk a drenching!
It took me a while to figure out how to capture that moment but I've been experimenting with different techniques lately and, using mixed media, have managed - I hope!- to catch something of the way it looked on that evening, with the rain slowly moving in and obscuring the headland.
The picture is lightly varnished, framed in a simple wooden frame and ready to hang.
