Original artwork description:

Radegast is an old god of Slavic Mythology of Hospitality. Radagast is a character from J.R.R. Tokein's "The Hobbit" story. I loved how Radagast cared for animals and lived a life in the forest. Gandalf described him as and "honest" and "worthy" wizard. He spoke many different animal languages and was friends with the skin changer Beorn.

I painted my Radegast as a young girl listening to her animal companions.

Materials used:

Oil on Canvas
