Original artwork description:

This is an original collage/mixed media artwork on a cradled birch panel created with encaustic (beeswax) paint, dry earth pigments and encaustic monotypes. This is from my fun "Quantum" series inspired both by science and Star Trek!

Spheres are ubiquitous in nature and very compelling to create in artwork. I find it fascinating that mysterious quantum physics reveals universal connections. "At that deepest sub nuclear level You and I are literally One." - John Hagelin, PhD.

Each sphere is unique and printed on a variety of printmaking papers including rice, Unryu mulberry and other handmade papers. This piece has a large variety of textures and colors and has been buffed to a high gloss.

12" x 12" x 1"

Signed and dated on the back and wired for hanging. This painting has clean birch sides and does not need to be framed which is standard for contemporary encaustic.
