This piece is the continuation of my curiosity with the technique of layering and the application of oil onto canvas. This painting is filled with minuscule details that can only be seen in person. You can literally find symbolism in every inch. For example, the background was done using a wet on wet technique with ink to give it the signature look of a modern house cats spots. These spots can be seen towards the bottom left of the painting. There are countless easter eggs in this piece, which guarantees that you will always have something to talk about with your guests and whoever may see it.

Along the symbolism path, the image which I choose to paint was intended to give the sense of purity. The innocence that a kitten can portray is outer worldly. What is more cute, cuddly, and playfully pure than a new born kitten? They have not yet lived life, or been corrupted by it. Everything is a curiosity and life is there playground. This is how we should live life.
