Artist's description:

Original, customisable #DeadPullipSociety skulls, in oil and acrylic, ready to hang... A combination of relief printing in acrylic and monoprinting in oil paints make these images unique and distinctive - and quite striking with the right combination of colours!

These stretched canvases can be ordered in any colour - and from the patterns available - as a single piece of wall art or as several - different coloured & patterned backgrounds together - three in a row, or a column, or even nine in a square - they look amazing on any wall!

When adding to your shopping cart please specify the colours and patterns you would like on each canvas - 'Buds', 'Winter Branches', 'Grain' or a 'Solid' colour... (The examples given show other possible combinations as well, please get in touch for any unusual combinations!)

Fashion dolls have a huge following. These dolls are not for children, they are strictly an adult craze, and all sorts of people collect, customise, sell, photograph... You get the idea.

Amongst the most popular of these dolls are the Blythe series, and the very similar Pullips - with which I have fallen in love with - especially of the gothic variety! Originating from Korea, the Japanese have created an explosion of amazing dolls, and of course fashioned them in incredible outfits as only the Japanese know how.

The internet is awash with images of customised Pullip Dolls from all around the world, and a huge portion of them are very cute, brilliantly customised with hand-made clothes, make-up and settings for them to reside in - but there are also an awful lot of saccharin-sweet, disgustingly grandiose and creepy dolls that spoil the otherwise wonderful crop.

With the #deadpullipsociety I plan to tip the scales a little, inject a little more gothic mayhem, a little more darkness in to the world of Pullips and their cousins - releasing a series of images, prints, apparel and other merchandise in to the world...
