I was the Artist in Residence this May at the Catoctin Mountain National Park. It was a wonderful experience - and I painted a LOT! Often 2 paintings a day. Normally I don't hike very far while plein-aire painting, but this view was so compelling, that it was worth the trek with all of my gear. This is on of my favorites from my time there - viewing down the valley of fields and pastures. So idyllic!
