Artwork description:

The inspiration to create this work was a visit to Staffa Island in Scotland this summer.
I decided to capture the meeting with these amazing birds by creating this romantic linocut showing a couple of birds in their natural environment.
This large linocut has been handcarved in a linoleum and handprinted in my studio using acid free white paper and Cranfield Caligo safe wash black ink.

Materials used:

Linoleum, cutting tools, roller, Acid free white paper, Cranfield Caligo safe wash ink
