This painting gets its name from the band "Public Image", and in particular their song also called Public Image which somehow I didn't appreciate properly when it came out in 1978. It features the amazing bass player Jah Wobble. Music is essential to my painting, and sometimes it feels that I am conducting a painting rather than just painting it. This is one of those.
The construction is canvas stretched over a wooden frame which is not visible. It is ready to hang.
Acrylic paint brushed over canvas. Wet paint removed with a silicon-tipped brush in two separate layers.
