So I was out working on my car and the friendly neighborhood Jehovah's Witnesses came by. I know a lot of folks are kinda rude to them but I really enjoy chatting with them and listen to what they say even though I am deeply not religious and never have been.
One day, one of the women that came around was telling me how to pray. She explained to me in great detail how God can't hear prayers unless you hold your fingers together, and straight. If you spread your fingers or clasp your hands - it's all over - you are not being heard. She was so into her method and very convinced about it. I'm still not planning on making the jump to being a JW anytime soon but she was a really interesting person.
Okay! Let's talk about the piece shall we?
This piece is acrylics, gouache, ink, and watercolors painted directly on a vintage photo. I like to call them "improved photos."
