The sunflower has a complex nature. It seems to be a flower - a beautiful bright flower. But it is also a food product when it is fully ripe. But I paint in oil sunflower because it looks like a tiny solar disk. Almost all artists love to paint a sunflower.
The style in which was painted did the painting "Sunflower" is impressionism. The painting was done partially with a palette knife - the strokes are thick and voluminous. The painting has dried up, as it was painted over a year ago. Blue and yellow colours are, as in nature, sky and sun, sea and sun. This combination is reminiscent of summer, vacation, beautiful tan.
The picture is simple in composition but eye-catching.
