Her love is most likely heartbroken and in despair. She feels overshadowed in her efforts to find the right man to sit next to her and spend the rest of her life with. Is the clock still ticking, or has it stopped indicating that he is present, but she cannot see him?

Prisoner of Time has an alarm clock and a surreal woman in a head cage. It was entirely built in 3D software; all props and figures are modeled with a camera and lighting setups for rendering. I utilize Photoshop filters to add vintage effects, muted hues, and loose brush strokes to evoke the nostalgia, atmosphere, and feel of a gothic interior, like in my most recent composition. Art collectors may notice a symbolic reference to surrealist painters such as Salvador Dali and Rene Magritte.

This is a collection of witty, out-of-the-box thinking, and thought-provoking artwork from the Surreal series.
