Inspired by photos I took in my ancestral village in Karnataka, India, the artwork is painted on archival LANA 300 gsm paper.
The small village, where my uncles and cousins outnumber the coconut palms, is situated in coastal area! It is lush green after rains, paddy fields full of water seem like ponds. The scene is serene but a gentle breeze sways coconut palms and banana trees.
