Portrait When the sea rises 002
Abstract portrait done with process experimentation. In a bath of sunflowers oil, I extracted paint with the help of soap. It's a long process, took several days for drying. The result is a semi abstract portrait. It's still enough line to build a mental shape of the portrait...but can disappear in abstraction.
Regarding global warming and sea water rising, I worked on a process to create disappearance on my portrait and reached abstraction.
Technique: oil, acrylics, ink, ballpoint pen and watercolors on cardboard 46 x 35,1cm
The portrait has a black framed shown on pictures (50x40cm) However; there is no glass because the painting is too thick.
