Artist's description:

I was able to capture this image of a large bull elephant as he approached our vehicle while on safari in Tanzania, East Africa. Elephants are becoming more and more scarce as the rate of poaching increases each year. Elephants are being killed at an alarming rate for their tusks. The ivory from the tusks is used to make art pieces and small trinkets for the growing Asian population.

Materials used:

Fine art print on 100% cotton rag fine art archival paper, Museo Silver Rag.
