Artist's description:

I have created in this sculpture a symbolism of traditional folk music and at the same time modern civic music. This emblematic Balkan music relationship between the Byzantine East and the Gothic West has been embodied in the originality of the Albanian musician Isuf Myzyri. His songs are sung in all the Balkan lands in the weddings and joys of the Albanian population. His songs remain dear to the public but also of interest to foreign composers.

Materials used:

Clay and plaster
