Artist's description:

Sometimes I like to paint larger-than–life objects (particularly, fruits and veggies), which can make a statement whether it's appreciated for its color effects and texture, or for its deeper meaning.

This is one of my "Meaningful Veggies". It depicts a huge pomegranate floating in the sky. Themes of inflated ego, narcissism, making itself a" center of the Universe" and self-created loneliness, come to mind when one looks at this painting.

Painted with many layers of acrylic paint on stretched, gallery-wrapped canvas. The photo image does not do any justice to this piece of art. The full effect of color variations is best realized when one looks at the original.

Finished with several coats of clear varnish to protect investment for years of display. Ready to be hanged with or without a frame. Sides of canvas painted so framing is not necessary.
Comes signed with title, date, initials and signature of the original artist on the back along with a Certificate of Authenticity
