Artist's description:

This is one out of the series " Seascapes", which I've been working on this year.
In this series I choose images of the North Carolina coastline for it's rough surf but also for the typical pole houses that run deeply into the surf. I like the building structure of these houses.
Also I enjoy the coastline for their wide open space, the ever changing clouds, the surf that can be rough or still... it's wonderful experiencing the elements.

This is why I decided to paint a series in which I would like the observer to hold on for a moment. Just observing through your if you are there, letting the feeling in.
I wanted to combine this stillness and wideness with the dynamics of my brushstroke and the vibrance of the colors as I see them. Find out for yourself what happens.
