Artwork description:

This print is made with a fantastic 2-colour wooden typeface attributed to ‘Bonnewell’ makers in London, mid-late 19th Century London. A labour of love, this piece was printed in 4 separate hand-inked colour runs. The series of alternating leaves were picked up at an architectural salvage yard in South London many years ago and if you look closely, you can see where a woodworm has made like a caterpillar and started ‘chewing on one of the leaves’! - Hooksmith Press

Materials used:

Hand set and hand printed letterpress with Vansons Rubber based ink on 280gsm Recycled Paper
