The latest in my series of pop art food paintings on high quality A4 paper is this, a simple but eye-catching piece that pits pizza against sushi!
Pizza is my all-time favourite food, even though I know it's bad for me. And while I know sushi is good for me, it's also an acquired taste that I'm not always in the mood for. So this poster style painting is meant as a humorous piece of artwork you could hang in your kitchen, or any room, to help you face those difficult takeaway decisions.
I also did the 'versus' text in the middle by hand, reflecting my love of handmade typography too. The food was painted using acrylic paints with the black outline and text done in Posca paint pen.
PLEASE NOTE: the painting doesn't come framed, but I've taken photos of it in a black A4 frame for display purposes. The second picture best represents what you'll be getting (not the pizza cutter and chopsticks though).
