"Pink Magnolia" is an hyperrealistic painting on a quality 100% cotton canvas,it is painted using oil colors of high quality, deep edge painted it doesn't need to frame , ready to hang .The surface was then finished with a double layer of Maimeri matt varnish transparent which makes it resistant to UV rays and the passage of time.

The magnolia owes its name to Pierre Magnol, a French physician and botanist. It has very ancient origins and can be found in different parts of the world from America to Asia. Magnolia is a symbol of dignity and perseverance. Legend has it that the Magnolia was a plant formed by a sort of "Two Magnolias". One was external and one internal, star-shaped, which symbolized the soul, the heart of the plant.
My painting procedure is very slow and it is a continuous search for details that makes possible this realistic evolution.
When finished I hope to have given life and soul to the painting that can speak for itself.
