An obsessive mixed media artwork made out of tiny chunks of hand stitched fabrics, and painted circles containing hand drawn pineapples.
This is my second pineapple artwork, and follows on from 'Lucky Pineapple'. It's safe to say my obsession with all things pineapple has now been exhausted after stitching many, many tiny fragments of 'pineapple chunks' which surround the concentric circles. What a relief!
It's fun, colourful and a little bit quirky. If you look at the close up images you'll be able to see all the teeny tiny stitches.
Each of the concentric circles have been sprayed with a museum quality satin varnish to protect the surface, and prevent damage from U.V. rays.
Everything has been mounted onto Ampersand panel and the artwork can be hung by either simply popping a nail into the wall ~ the artwork will then sit flush against the wall, alternatively you may wish to add fittings to the sides if you prefer.
Many pineapples were devoured whilst making this piece!
