Over 500 years old Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) in the relict pine ecotype growing on the top of Sokolica in the Pieniny Mountains in Poland. On September 6, 2018, a pine tree was damaged by a helicopter during a rescue operation in the Pieniny Mountains. The image shows the tree before damage.
