The Pig Farm. Acrylic on Board 30" x 48" I wasn't intending on creating an abstraction when I entered the studio this evening...but I learned that over 1 billion pigs are killed each year. I'm not preaching to meat eaters (nor have I to responsible meat consumers during my 30 years as a vegetarian), it's just a sad figure. Pigs are amazing animals; intelligent, inquisitive, social...and yes, they will eat humans, given the chance...touche little pink ones.
