I wanted to create a few head paintings of pheasants, and enjoy concentrating on the birds different details up close. The rich shades of the neck, against the warm browns of the body are thrown into relief by the gold backdrop.
This painting can be bought framed and unframed. I have my frames made to order by frames express, I then mount them myself to enable people the option of sorting out their own. If you would like it unframed send a note and I will adjust the price (about £30) .
