Either a dream, or reality. Either an ordinary European city, or an ideal place. The city is a bit theatrical, romantic, ceremonial and cozy at the same time.
It was not by chance that I found myself here on the fourth floor of the central gallery. I have dreamed of painting this place from above for a long time, since only birds, employees of upper offices and residents of attic apartments usually see it. Such a beauty!! I made several sketches on small canvases, and at home, in my "White Workshop", I put them together into a single composition. It turned out to be an evening painting.

I painted it in the spring. But, however, this landscape can also be attributed to the late warm October, when a prolonged wind tears off all the remaining leaves from the trees. And all the details of the architecture are so clearly visible. The air is clear, windless. The townspeople calmed down their running. And they actually began to live, quietly inhaling the damp air of their beloved city.

I signed the painting on the front and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
