This hot spring is located in the West Thumb Geyser Basin in Yellowstone National Park. The artist Steph Moraca chose to paint this magnificent turquoise water scene with oil paint on canvas. The piece appears abstract at first glance until closer inspection of the plants surrounding the hot spring and the edge of the hot spring pulling your view into the distance.
