This is a quote by Phaedrus (see PLato for reference).
The title of this artwork is rather funny in Danish "Bevar fatningen - brug pæren". Which means keep socket/calm and use bulb/brain, since fatningen and pæren have two meanings each. So I went for a rather shallow punchline of the title in English.
This little gem of a painting will illuminate your study or drawing room and make you smile.
