Artist's description:

The peregrine falcon is the largest British falcon and perhaps the best hunter of all its family. During world war 2 peregrines were deliberately shot in case they caught pigeons which were used to carry messages. This bird inspired me to paint because of the peregrine has eyes that are larger and heavier than human eyes. It can spot prey on the ground from a height of 300m. I wish all artist should have brilliant eyes sight to bring out good detailed work of there creation. My creation of this peregrine is now looking for new home!
