Artist's description:

I have a friend who lives in New York City. She just knows Oklahoma was flat. Maybe she saw a photo. Photograph or not, she is incorrect.
This painting is of a ranch near the Kiamichi Mountains so named by the French explorers that came through in the 1700's. Kiamichi is a Native American word meaning raucous bird. Apparently, there was a large, obnoxiously loud woodpecker disturbing their explorations.
This painting is done on particle board and is varnished. It will require a frame for proper display.
