The transparent hands of the wind, like children in a cradle, sway flowers with delicate pink petals. And not without reason, the ears of these peonies still remember the loud, hateful words of Asclepius. And all because the student has surpassed the teacher.
It all began at a time when people worshiped the gods who sat on Olympus. The hero of our tale, the talented demigod Asclepius, also lived on this mountain, but the fact of mixed blood did not prevent people from reading him, because a simple mortal in his art of healing surpassed the gods and knew the secrets of all herbs. Such a talent was difficult to surpass, but his student succeeded. And the name of this daredevil was Peon.
There were various rumors about where and how he bypassed the one who first saw the potential in him and raised him. In one of these rumors, Peon saved the god of the underworld, the wounded Hades, which deserved his love. Others whispered that Peon had found the root of a plant whose milk sap relieved pain during childbirth. Women in labor in droves went to the doctor for help. But all the rumors had one end - Asclepius either killed Peon, succumbing to envy, or intended to do it, but the gods, trying to save the young man, in every story saved him, turning him into a beautiful flower.
These flowers are sincerity revived. The artist, knowing about the wonderful abilities of the plant, revived them under his brush, so that one glance at the slightly swaying buds evoked the sun in his thoughts and tenderness in the solar plexus region.
