Do you remember how, as little kids, we were tought to be nice and share our toys and sweets with others? „Bee sweet“ is a charcoal drawing about this exact moment of an inner struggle in a life of a little girl.
This work is inspired by one of my old sketches from my University time in South Korea, where I was assigned to a korean family as a part of cultural exchange project. Traditional korean dress pictured on this charcoal drawing is commonly worn in this country on holidays and family celebrations. The bee was added later, as our family started beekeeping and these little fascinating creatures started their quiet invasion in many of my artworks.
The background paper is slightly sepia-yellow. Paper size is 30x40 cm.
Recommended passepartout cut out measurements: ca 27x33cm
