Original artwork description:

The pearl bubbles series is a series of artworks painted with acrylic paint on 400 gram artist paper in the size 30/40. The different colors that can be seen in the painting are bright and light colors wich i created on a white background. On the white background I first painted the abstract background in several layers with a lot of water. Than i spread degreser over the wet paint and let it dry for a few minutes. The colors that you see on the abstract background, come back in the structure of the visible coastline. Then I made light differences by mixing the colors with black and white. I then wiped the lines in several layers to create a horizontal line of art with vertical wipe effects. I have applied the structure in several layers. The paint is applied with a palette knife, brushes and structural pens. Lastly i added a silk top coating. The painting has a signature in gold on the front and is also signed and dated at the back.

The painting on paper is framed in a black wooden frame with a white passe partout. The frame is provided with a Plexiglas plate instead of regular glass. The Plexiglas gives a beautiful glossy representation of the artwork and is also resistant to weather influences, does not let UV light through and is particularly sturdy, so that it does not get damaged during the shipping process for example. Where glass is fragile, Plexiglas is sturdy and not fragile. The artwork is provided with a solid double semi gloss top coating, which protects the artwork against UV light, weather conditions and enhancing the colors
