The painting was painted in Sevastopol, Crimea

I really wanted to paint the etude "Pear" easily and semi-transparent, without thick layers of paint. I like that I was able to convey the hard texture of burlap and how the imprimatur looks through. I love when the work is not overloaded, there is picturesque about it.

The pear is a symbol of eternity and endurance. Since pear trees live and bear fruit for a long time, it is possible to consider the pear as a symbol of longevity. And pear flowers have always been considered an absolute symbol of beauty.
Paintings as is one of the highest form of art also live for centuries. There is a symbol of eternity on the canvas, which will be preserved for many centuries to come. The painting will live for generations.
