Artist's description:

In reading about Peacocks I learned that the male is called a Peacock, a female is called A Peafowl and a baby is called a PeaHen. When a Peacock fans his feathers they quiver in such a way as to make a sound that only another bird can hear (humans cannot hear this sound). The feathers are made up of tiny crystal-like structures. I consider the Peacock one of the most beautiful and interesting creatures, especially when the male struts his stuff.

This piece was painted with acrylics, medium, clear tar gel and light molding paste. The flowers and branches are carried to the side of the canvas so there is no need for a frame, unless you decide you want one.

Materials used:

soft acrylics, molding paste, tar gel
