Artist's description:

This painting was inspired by looking at the news and the media world in general, where glamour is a sad reality of many people and something that I find so false and meaningless. That is what I wanted to express in this painting. By featuring the poodle smoking a cigar it represents the fat cats in the world that use those cliches to portrait themselves as very important people. The idea of the male poodle being half buried and still smoking a cigar represents that facade in that class circle. The female throwing the dirt just represented how Julio saw relationships in the celebrity and high class circles where some divorces end up with some people having their dirty laundry aired in public.
