Exhibition History:
2016 November, Mall Galleries, London

All pieces of the Pathfinder series have the inevitable fish motifs swimming in the sea of letters and thoughts. These are the scenes of our unconscious where the multilingual floating words and texts symbolize the multicultural world, the confusion of tongues at Babel and the complexity of our lives which always have unexplainable elements just like we cannot understand all languages of the world. All the texts have a meaning even if they just seem signs of some sort (e.g. Nepalese, Hebrew words) and with hard work we can have a progressive understanding of them, the same way as we can get to know ourselves and the world around us better if we crave for this knowledge.

Materials used:

acrylic on canvas, newspaper collage and decollage
