Artist's description:

Goats line up on a rocky dam in northern Israel. During my stay in Israel, I worked on a moshav in Be'erotayim, inland of Netanya. A moshav is similar to a kibbutz: a privatized cooperative farming initiative. The farm had about 100 goats, a handful of sheep, and a variety of other wildlife. In the morning we'd milk the goats to make cheese, and then take them out to pasture in the afternoon. Goat herding can be an exasperating, but fulfilling job. Moments like these, when they're playful and posing, creates a lasting pastoral scene.

Materials used:

Special fine art metallic photo paper mounted on 3x board (no matting or framing necessary)
