Symbolic bird ready to take off. Jean-Luc Lacroix likes to go to the essential in order to keep only the main characteristics that make the subject.
Throughout the years, the artist has enjoyed purifying and eliminating what is not needed, all the unnecessary, both in his paintings and sculptures and in his daily life. This sculpture was created with metal objects found here and there that he must then clean and sand before proceeding to the next step which is pure creation.
