Artist's description:

One of my favourite animals, the Snow Leopard. This is the first of a new series of paintings exploring our relationship with nature. The Snow leopard in on the IUCN endangered list and many of the reasons for its drop in numbers is due to human interference like mining and poaching; both the leopards themselves and their prey. The inclusion of an article of rubbish in the painting is just a reminder of how we are encroaching on these beautiful, natural habitats.
