Original artwork description:

The reason why traditional Turkish wedding dresses are red is that it comes from the poppy flower in terms of color and meaning. According to Turkish beliefs, many poppy flowers grow in an area where many soldiers die on the battlefield. One of the most important symbols of the Dardanelles War is the poppy flower.
The artist takes inspiration from the Papaver flower in this work. In the picture, the model's gaze carries an expression that awaits her lover or spouse in the war. The artist places papaver flowers and buds on the model's shoulder, in the texture of the outfit, and in various places in the backdrop. The artist adds a mystical atmosphere to his work with circular lights, halos and transparencies.
