Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

This is an October 1995 photo of a guitar player sitting on a bench in the vicinity of Jackson Square in the French Quarters of New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. He was quite talented but nobody was attending to his playing. Apparently by chance, two females with similar appearances were sitting on the bench behind him talking with each other. They were so engrossed in their own conversation they appeared not to notice the guitar performance. I observed this event for several minutes but captured this moment because it seemed to represent the "decisive moment" of the two women ignoring the player. What first caught my attention was the guitar player with the Florida Panthers hockey t-shirt and stylish loafer shoes with flaps but what caused me to trip the shutter to capture the image was the interactions of the two women on the bench behind the Panther player.

Materials used:

This photograph was created from a Kodak Tri-X negative scanned with a Nikon Super Coolscan 8000 ED and processed via Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop before being printed as a giclee on archival 100% cotton rag fine art paper.
